Welcome — I'm so glad you're here. Whether this is your first Reiki session, your first time on a Pilates reformer, or your first wellness coaching call, here's everything you need to know so you can show up feeling ready, not nervous.
You'll receive a confirmation email with the date, time, and (for virtual sessions) a link or instructions.
No special preparation is required — just come as you are. For in-person Pilates or yoga, wear comfortable clothing you can move in.
For distance Reiki, find a quiet, comfortable spot where you won't be disturbed for the session length. You don't need to do anything active — please be reachable at the scheduled time.
Have water nearby, and try to avoid scheduling anything demanding right after, especially for Reiki or coaching sessions — people sometimes feel a little tired or emotionally light afterward.
During Your Session
Reiki: You'll simply relax during the scheduled window. I'll message you when the session is complete with any impressions I picked up, if relevant.
Pilates / Yoga (in-person, group, or 1-on-1): We'll start with a quick check-in about your goals, any injuries, and how your body's feeling that day, then move into the session itself.
Community Yoga / Weekday Wind-up (group sessions): Just show up a few minutes early — no experience or prep needed. These are come-as-you-are, low-pressure spaces.
Wellness Coaching: Sessions are conversational. Come with whatever's on your mind — we'll figure out the right focus together, there's no need to prepare an agenda.
After Your Session
I'll follow up briefly to see how you're feeling and answer any questions.
It's normal to feel anything from energized to sleepy to emotional — all of these are fine and usually settle within a day.
If you'd like to rebook or want a recommendation for next steps (more frequent sessions, a different offering, etc.), just ask — I'm happy to help you figure out what fits.
A Few Practical Notes
Cancellations: Please give 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule any virtual or in-person session (the intro Pilates offer is the exception — it's non-refundable). Late cancellations or no-shows for private sessions carry a $25 fee ($10 if rebooked within 7 days).
Health note: Always check with your healthcare provider before starting a new movement practice, including yoga or Pilates.
